National Trust Property has Luxury Vinyl Flooring in Stockport fitted in it
Cheadle Floors recently worked at a National Trust property that had undergone a complete renovation. A new kitchen, bathroom, and utility room had been fitted, walls had been plastered, as well as new doors and skirting boards put in place. We were asked to fit Amtico luxury vinyl tiles in the kitchen, bathroom, and sunroom of the house.
Where there was existing flooring, we removed this first. For example, in the kitchen, there were old vinyl tiles, which we took up and disposed of. We ensured the whole area was clear and there was a clean surface, and then, as a commercial floor fitter in Stockport, we applied a layer of screed across the floor of each room where the new luxury vinyl flooring in Stockport was being laid. In addition, where necessary, we fitted a layer of plywood first to guarantee a level surface. Preparing the subbase by fitting plywood and applying a layer of screed are important steps that a professional commercial floor fitter in Stockport will take to achieve a quality finish. You can see examples of the various stages of preparation in some of the photographs included.
Once the correct preparatory work had been completed, we then installed the luxury vinyl flooring in Stockport. Our clients chose Amtico Spacia Mulled Oak. You can see what this flooring looks like from the photographs. The rich caramel tones and traditional wood grain were perfect for the age and style of the property, suiting the traditional feel of the cottage without having to have a real wood floor and the cost that comes with it. That’s one of the great features of luxury vinyl flooring in Stockport, it is very adaptable and can look great in a modern, contemporary setting or more traditional, older property.
