Luxury Vinyl Tiles and Heavy-Duty Carpet Fitted Throughout
As specialist floor fitters covering South Manchester and Cheshire, Cheadle Floors recently completed a full flooring installation for a new build property in Romiley. This project required a tailored approach to deliver both contemporary style and long-lasting durability across the entire home.
For the main living areas and hallway, our clients selected Camaro Naked Blonde Oak luxury vinyl tile (LVT) . This stunning, realistic wood-effect flooring creates an immediate sense of space and light, offering a modern, Scandi-inspired aesthetic that perfectly complements a new build interior. The Naked Blonde Oak finish provides a versatile, neutral backdrop that suits a wide range of interior design styles.
Before the LVT could be installed, we carried out essential subfloor preparation by applying a latex screed to the hallway area. This process is crucial for new build properties to create a perfectly smooth, level, and stable base. A properly prepared subfloor is fundamental to achieving a flawless, professional finish and guaranteeing the long-term performance of the luxury vinyl tiles.
For the private living spaces, the clients chose Fusion Twist heavy-duty domestic carpet for the four bedrooms, hall, stairs, and landing. This high-performance carpet is specifically designed to withstand the demands of a busy family home, offering exceptional durability in high-traffic zones like stairs and landings, while retaining a soft, luxurious feel in the bedrooms. To maximise comfort and performance, we installed the carpet over Tredair underlay. This high-quality underlay enhances thermal insulation, reduces noise transfer between floors, and provides superior cushioning, ensuring the carpet remains comfortable and looking its best for many years.
Cheadle Floors managed every stage of this project, beginning with the careful preparation of the site to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Our experienced fitters then expertly installed the Camaro LVT in the hallway and throughout the designated living areas. Simultaneously, the team precisely cut and fitted the Fusion Twist carpet across all four bedrooms, the hallway, stairs, and landing, including all necessary gripper rod installation and edge finishing. The result is a cohesive, high-quality flooring solution that combines practical durability with modern style, perfectly tailored to the needs of a new build home.
